Board-Certified Dermatologist

Dr. Reaves is board certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Dermatology and is a Fellow of the American Society of Mohs Surgery and a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. She specializes in medical and surgical dermatology, including the MOHs dermatologic procedure. She is a member of several professional medical groups, including: American Osteopathic Association, American Osteopathic College of Dermatology, American Society of MOHs Surgeons, American Society of Dermatologic Surgeons, and Christian Medical and Dental Association. She has authored and co-authored journal articles and has presented cases at various dermatology conferences.

Education

Dr. Reaves attended the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine in 2000, and completed her D.O. in 2004. Her post-medical graduate training includes her Osteopathic Internship at Kingman Regional Medical Center from 2004-05 and one year of Family Medicine residency at the same hospital from 2005-06. Dr. Reaves completed her Dermatology residency at the Midwestern University Dermatology Program at Arizona Desert Dermatology in 2009. She served as Chief Resident of Dermatology from 2008-2009.

Experience

Upon completion of her residency, she worked as an attending physician for two years with Arizona Desert Dermatology. Originally from north Alabama, Dr. Reaves returned to the southeast to build a home and serve the residents of her community. She worked as an employee of Holston Medical Group from 2011-2013 and opened her own practice March of 2013.

Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner

Millie Henderson joined CallaDerm in the summer of 2016. She is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). Millie is also a member of the National Academy of Dermatology Nurse Practitioners. Millie's collegiate education began at Winthrop University in Rock Hill, South Carolina where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. She then attended King University in Bristol, Tennessee and earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing.

Millie worked as a Registered Nurse with Mountain States Health Alliance and then joined CallaDerm as an RN while finishing graduate school. Millie obtained her Masters of Science Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner at the Johnson City, Tennessee campus of ETSU. Millie grew up in a military family and moved around often but called South Carolina home until moving to Northeast Tennessee in 2008. In her other job, Millie is a wife and mother of four children. They enjoy sports and hiking or anything that allows them time together as a family. They have also acquired many animals and are one their way to having a small farm.

Board-Certified Physician Assistant

Teresa Starke is a board certified physician assistant and a fellow of the American Academy of Physician Assistants. She is also a member of the Tennessee Academy of Physician Assistants and of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants. Teresa specializes in medical and surgical dermatology, along with cosmetic procedures. She completed additional training and received an aesthetic certification from Empire Medical Training in Botox and Dermal Fillers.

Teresa graduated Cum Laude with a bachelor degree in ACS Neurochemistry from Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesota. Teresa then attended South College in Knoxville, Tennessee graduating with her Master in Health Science and obtaining her license as a Physician Assistant in 2015.

Teresa worked previously at a Dermatology practice in Knoxville Tennessee, before coming up to the Tri-Cities to practice as a family medicine practitioner for a few years. She joined CallaDerm in March of 2017. Teresa, along with her husband and children, keep themselves busy by staying actively involved in the community. From catching them at downtown charity races to attending ETSU athletic events, they are very happy with their new home in East Tennessee. The great weather and even warmer people are hard to beat. Teresa really enjoys talking and getting to know her patients, besides providing up-to-date and seamless medical care.
